Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our patient service centers in Cook County, IL. Position offers full- and part-time hours, with dayshift Monday–Friday and possible weekend/holiday rotations.

You will perform phlebotomy, manage specimen/test orders, and ensure proper collection and handling for various patient populations. Ideal candidates have phlebotomy training, CPR-BLS certification, and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
• CPR-BLS certification required for the Healthcare Provider from the AHA; ASCP certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by supervisor/manager/director.
• Order tests into Lab/Hospital systems and document receipt of specimens.
• Collect patient specimens appropriate for the age/patient population served.
• Collect blood samples ensuring adequate volume and correct tubes are used.
