Job summary

Required: 3 years phlebotomy experience; HS diploma; California/Nevada/Washington exceptions for certification not applicable here. English communication essential.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing info and collect payments per policy.
• Prepare specimens for transport (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting).
• Handle non-patient duties (inventory, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
