Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in San Antonio, TX, working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends. The role pays $21.50+ per hour and offers competitive benefits.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, processing samples, and ensuring accurate data entry. The ideal candidate has three years phlebotomy experience and a valid driver’s license, with certification preferred in some states.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Navigate lab tech systems, verify orders and enter data accurately.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs, prepare specimens for transport, and assist with statistics submission.
