Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Lake Jackson, TX is hiring a Phlebotomist II. Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with rotational weekends and a pay range of $20.80+ per hour. The role focuses on specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to procedures within a fast-paced lab environment.

The position requires three years of phlebotomy experience, high school diploma, and English communication skills. Employee benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Collect payments when required following policies.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Read and comply with policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
