Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver''s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Position requires ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and confirm orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required per policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparation for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
