Responsibilities include collecting specimens, processing samples, data entry, and maintaining logs. Requirements include 3 years phlebotomy experience and high school diploma; phlebotomy certification is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders and enter data in lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and enter billing information as required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training records.
