Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday schedule in Springfield, MO, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role includes collecting specimens, processing tests, and verifying orders using lab systems.

The pay range begins at $20.00 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonuses based on performance. Responsibilities include specimen handling, charting, and non-patient facing tasks such as inventory and data entry.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screening).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client information.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, prepare for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete trainings on time.
