Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, perform drug screens and biometric tests, and support patient services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires prior phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and good English communication; hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard and accurate data entry experience.
• Flexible and available weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
• Comply with policies and participate in statistics/data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training completion.
