Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders and enter data in lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and accurate data entry.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments as required.
• Process specimens (label, centrifuge, aliquot, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature records.
• Complete training courses timely.
