Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Monroe, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and support clinical testing processes. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a pay range starting at $22.36 per hour plus potential bonuses based on performance.

The role requires valid phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or overtime as needed. Comprehensive benefits are provided with FT employment.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client communication.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient-facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and compliance with policies.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Complete required training courses on time.
