Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Enter data accurately using computer systems.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and related records.
• Complete training courses timely.
