Shift: M-THURS 8-5PM, Friday 8-1PM / EST
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients who come in, either as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
The PSR II draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
They have direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
The PSR II demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence and maintaining sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center, or as needed based on business requirements.
Under the supervision of the area manager, perform daily activities accurately and punctually, maintaining a safe and professional environment.
Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties, following established practices and procedures.
Verify patient demographic information, including initials and signatures post-venipuncture, to ensure tubes are labeled correctly and in the patient's presence.
Maintain required records and documentation, demonstrating organizational commitment and promoting a positive image to patients, clients, and the public.
