Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Whittier, CA. The role runs Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with rotational weekends. A state phlebotomy license is required, and CA, WA, NV may require specific credentials.

Qualifications

• State phlebotomy license required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• NHA licenses not accepted in CA, WA, NV.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
