Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures; includes drug screens and biometric exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computers and enter data accurately.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
