Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Edison, NJ, with a schedule of Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 7:30 AM–12:30 PM and Wed, Sat 8:00 AM–1:00 PM. Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour, with annual bonus potential depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact; ensure data accuracy.
• Enter data accurately and navigate computer systems.
• Obtain identification and process billing information when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport as needed.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and participate in required trainings.
