Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Grass Valley, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist I. The role requires a state phlebotomy license, with CA/NV/WA licensing considerations noted. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM with rotational weekends.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsabilidades

• Collect specimens according to established procedures; includes drug screens, biometric screenings and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required following policies.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones and emails.
• Read and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with statistics submission and maintain phlebotomy logs.
