Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I for Sparks, NV. The role runs Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with rotational weekends. A state phlebotomy license is required; CA/NV/WA license recognition is noted. Pay starts at $21.80+ per hour with potential annual bonuses.

Competenze

• / High school diploma or equivalent.
• / Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• / Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Mansioni

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders via lab systems and client communication.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/data submission when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
