Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I for the Cambridge, MA area. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekend shifts. Pay ranges from $22.80 to $24.45 per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus based on performance.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; medical training or phlebotomy certification is preferred, and one year of phlebotomy experience is desirable. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred medical training.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; required in some states.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred; customer service experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric tests.
• Perform data entry and verify orders via lab systems and client communications.
• Prepare specimens for transport and maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Handle non-patient duties such as inventory, filing, and phones as needed.
