Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist I in Troy, MI. The role runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with every third Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Rochester, MI. Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and processing while adhering to procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA/NV/WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance/temperature logs.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
