Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist I for the Evanston Hospital Patient Service Centers in Cook County, IL. This full-time role includes phlebotomy procedures, specimen collection, and test ordering in lab systems.

Monday–Friday with varied start times; some weekend coverage and rotating holidays may apply. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), CPR-BLS required, and phlebotomy training experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
• CPR-BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required; ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special phlebotomy procedures as directed by Supervisor/Manager/Director.
• Enter tests into Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and document receipt of specimens.
• Collect patient specimens appropriate for age and patient population served.
• Ensure correct tubes and adequate volume for tests.
