Qualifications

• Graduation and certification from approved phlebotomy program or recognized certifying agency preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle may be required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain blood specimens from patients of all ages using venipuncture and micro-techniques.
• Instruct patients to provide urine samples and throat cultures as ordered.
• Review requisitions to determine appropriate tubes and labeling; ensure patient safety and specimen integrity.
