The role involves specimen collection, data entry, and patient service, with a pay range of $21.60–$23.15 per hour. Benefits and performance bonuses may apply depending on status and hours worked.

This position requires a high school diploma and preferred phlebotomy training. California, Nevada, and Washington require phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric tests).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information; ensure data accuracy.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately to support workflows.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required, per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, preparing for transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Follow departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs timely.
• Complete online and in-person training courses on schedule.
