Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to assist with venipuncture, specimen labeling, and proper processing in a fast-paced clinical setting in Florida. You will maintain accurate patient information and ensure specimen integrity while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include training, troubleshooting, and documenting maintenance data, with emphasis on customer-friendly communication and compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and other specimen collections.
• Label specimens and centrifuge as required.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination.
• Update patient information in the system.
• Package and transport specimens following protocol.
• Explain procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
• Ensure specimen integrity and follow safety regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer calls and respond to inquiries about results.
