Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a qualified Phlebotomist to assist in blood draws, specimen labeling, and processing in a fast-paced laboratory setting. You will ensure proper labeling, centrifugation, and storage of specimens, while adhering to OSHA regulations and maintaining patient courtesy and safety.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, matching requisitions to tubes, preparing samples for transport, and documenting maintenance data.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens as required by test order.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and ensure accurate labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity per protocol.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in annual trainings.
