Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required by state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection with proper labeling.
• Maintain accurate patient and test information in the LIS/EMR systems.
• Label, centrifuge, and aliquot specimens per protocol and test orders.
• Ensure specimens are stored and transported under required conditions.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in annual trainings.
