Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a phlebotomist to assist with blood draws, specimen labeling, and transport. The role requires completing standard lab procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring specimen integrity.

Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, documenting maintenance data, and complying with OSHA regulations. Training and quality assurance activities are part of the daily duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED 0-2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain clearly and courteously the venipuncture or other specimen collection process.
• Demonstrate technique using straight or butterfly needles.
• Ensure proper labeling and matching of requisitions to specimens.
