Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a Phlebotomist to support high‑volume venipuncture in a fast‑paced clinical setting. You will perform blood draws, label specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while following safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include collecting and processing specimens, centrifuging, packaging for transport, and maintaining meticulous records. You will explain the venipuncture procedure to patients clearly and courteously.

Qualifications

Valid phlebotomy certification as required by the state of employment.
Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
High School Diploma or GED plus 2-4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
Explain clearly and courteously the venipuncture process and other specimen collection for required tests.
Demonstrate technique using straight and butterfly needles.
Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure 100% accuracy.
Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
