Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Escondido, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position requires a state phlebotomy license (CA) and offers a pay range of 24.00 to 25.70 USD per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Verify and confirm orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments as required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and preparing for transport.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and assist with statistics.
