Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Chino, CA, with Monday–Friday hours and optional weekend rotation. The position requires a state phlebotomy license and offers a pay range of $24.00–$25.70 per hour. A bonus may be available based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Handle billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Prepare specimens for transport (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training records.
