Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Linwood location is seeking a Phlebotomist I to support specimen collection and processing. Mon-Fri 7:30 AM–3:00 PM with rotational weekends; pay range $21.60–$23.15/hour. Eligible for annual bonus based on performance and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, processing & data entry, and ensuring accurate orders and billing information, with strong emphasis on quality, compliance, and customer service.

Qualifications

• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
