Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Commack, NY is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with rotational weekends, and pays $24.00–$24.50 per hour. You will collect specimens, document results, and support patient care in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Education: high school diploma; phlebotomy certification preferred where allowed. One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred where applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred in most states.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders in lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information as required.
• Process specimens for transport and prepare for testing.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
