Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Cranberry Township, PA, seeks a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational weekends. The role offers a pay range starting at $20.00+ per hour and eligibility for annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and accurate use of lab information systems. A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred, with CA/NV/WA being mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders via lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
