Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Geneva, OH is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens, perform basic patient preparation, and support lab operations in a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotational weekends. You will work with biomedical teams to ensure accurate sample handling and timely processing.

The role offers a minimum pay of $20.00+ per hour, opportunities for annual bonus compensation, and a benefits package outlined by the company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures; includes drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data as required.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, emailing.
