Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Bradford, PA, is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a full-time role on a Mon-Fri schedule from 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM with rotating weekends. The pay starts at $20.00 per hour and includes bonus potential and robust benefits.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, processing, data entry, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with lab procedures. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments as required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/data submission when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.

Skills

One year phlebotomy experience

Keyboard/data entry experience

Customer service experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
