Description

Collect specimens for diagnostic testing, including blood, throat, nasopharyngeal, and TB testing. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing appropriate patient and specimen identification
• Maintaining aseptic technique during specimen collection
• Using correct equipment
• Performing clerical activities such as logging specimens, quick registration, and ordering labs
• Basic processing of specimens such as centrifuging and transferring as directed

May serve inpatient and/or outpatient areas. Other duties as assigned.

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Day Shift

Schedule: Day hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with alternating Saturdays

Education: High school graduation or equivalent
