Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for our client’s medical facility in Mount Vernon, WA. The role is contract-based with a potential extension and starts with a first shift schedule (M-F, 07:30–16:30). Pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least three years in phlebotomy, including pediatric and geriatric collections. Travel between locations and weekends/holidays may be required.

• Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, error-free phlebotomy services in a fast-paced setting.
• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Perform pediatric and geriatric collections with accuracy.
• Be flexible to cover weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.
• Follow all company policies, dress code, safety and procedures.

Pay Range/Salary Range: $20 - $24

Job Description

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Committed to all Policies & Procedures including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
• Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office
• Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice. Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.

Work Experience

• THREE years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
