Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a medical clinic in Lees Summit, MO. This role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and delivering exceptional patient service at a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification, and 1 year+ experience. Labcorp experience is a plus; travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training required.
• 1 year+ phlebotomist experience preferred.
• Current or prior Labcorp experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
