Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist for our medical clinic in Raymore, MO 64083. Work hours include Mon/Tue/Thu 8:15 AM - 4:15 PM and Wed/Fri 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with potential for additional days.

Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, and travel to other sites as needed. A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification or accredited training is preferred, with strong customer service and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
