Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Crestview Hills team in Kentucky. The role involves performing blood collections, specimen processing, data entry, and customer service at Patient Service Centers or Client offices. Monday–Friday 8am-4:30pm with rotating weekends.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification and 3+ months of experience. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered by Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months+ experience as a phlebotomist
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
