Job summary

Labcorp in Crestview Hills, KY is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient services team. You will perform blood draws, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and billing processing. The role supports superior patient service at either patient service centers or client offices.

The position requires phlebotomy certification or training, or at least 3 months of experience, with strong communication and independent work capability. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy training or certification required or minimum 3 months experience
• Proven track record in venipuncture and specimen collection
• Excellent customer service and data-entry skills

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Travel to additional sites when needed
