Job summary

Labcorp seeks a part-time Phlebotomist to join our team at the San Rafael facility. You will perform blood collections, process specimens for testing, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering exceptional patient service. Opportunities exist to support multiple sites as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid CA Phlebotomy License; prior Labcorp experience is a plus. Typical schedule is Mon-Fri with potential overtime and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
