Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener to support plasma center operations in Visalia, CA. The role involves phlebotomy, donor screening, and maintaining donor records. You will work with a team to ensure donor safety and accuracy in compensation documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer-facing experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform glove-wearing tasks due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate changes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
