Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a full-time laboratory support professional with phlebotomy responsibilities. The role involves collecting specimens, processing, and ensuring safe handling of materials across the lab and related sites.

Responsibilities include assisting in performance improvement, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent customer service to patients and staff. Monday–Friday day shift with occasional on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills and blood collection experience.
• Ability to communicate with patients and staff in English.
• Comfort with computer-based recordkeeping and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and blood collection for all ages.
• Set up primary specimen cultures and process specimens.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and manage inventory.
• Support performance improvement activities and education of clinical staff.
• Ensure safety policies and PPE usage are followed.
• Handle patient information and insurance details with confidentiality.
