Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist III for our Wallingford, CT location. The role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining a trusted patient relationship.

You will work under the area supervisor, perform duties accurately, maintain confidentiality, and ensure proper documentation and records. Strong data entry and customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Represent the company to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.

Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist Floater for their Wallingford, CT location.

Responsibilities:

• The Phlebotomist III represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The Phlebotomist III draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The Phlebotomist III has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• The Phlebotomist III will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• 3-5 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
• State of Credentials Licenses Required:
