Job summary

Froedtert Health in West Bend, WI is seeking a phlebotomy technician to perform blood collection, process specimens, and provide friendly patient service in a busy clinic setting within the CP-WEST BEND HEALTH CENTER.

Required: completion of an approved phlebotomy program or related healthcare experience with direct patient contact; 100 venipunctures preferred; ASCP certification preferred; formal training in phlebotomy or MA diploma preferred.

Job Summary

EXPERIENCE

Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program of 6 months or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.

EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

LICENSURE

ASCP certification preferred.

TRAINING

Formal training in phlebotomy, Medical Assistant training or equivalent or Health Unit Coordinator diploma, preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Knowledge of medical terminology.
