Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a full-time phlebotomist to join our hospital-based team. You will perform phlebotomy and a range of technical, non-technical, and clerical tasks to support patient care.

Completion of an approved phlebotomy program or related healthcare experience is required, with 100 venipunctures preferred. ASCP certification is preferred, and excellent communication is essential for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related healthcare experience including direct patient contact is required.
• Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• ASCP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure accurate specimen collection and labeling.

Job Summary

Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non‑technical, and clerical functions.

Experience

Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related healthcare experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Licensure

ASCP certification is preferred.

Special Skills

Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFUs and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets are required. Basic computer, problem‑solving and good communication skills are required.
