Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy and related tasks at our Manitowoc, Wisconsin facility. This on-site role covers casual shifts and involves callouts and PTO coverage across shifts.

The candidate should have completed an approved Phlebotomy program or related healthcare experience with direct patient contact; ASCP certification is preferred. A high school diploma is preferred, with basic computer and documentation skills required.

Job Summary

Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non technical, and clerical functions.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION

Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFU and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets are required. Basic computer, problem-solving and good communication skills are required.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION

ASCP certification is preferred.
