Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in San Clemente, CA. You will perform blood collections, collect various specimens, and enter patient data accurately while providing outstanding patient service.

The role supports multiple sites with travel as needed. California CPT license and a high school diploma are required, with 1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred and bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
