Job summary

Labcorp in Tustin, CA is hiring a Phlebotomist Float to cover multiple sites in Orange and South LA County. The role involves venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and bedside service with travel between sites.

The position offers a flexible schedule (Mon–Fri 4:45 am–6:00 pm with some Saturdays), a quarterly incentive bonus plan, and a pay range of $21.00–$33.00 per hour plus a $1.50 hourly float incentive and mileage reimbursement. Comprehensive benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
