Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float in Tustin, CA to cover Orange and South LA County. Schedule varies Mon–Fri with some Saturdays; travel to multiple sites as needed. You will perform venipuncture, collect samples, enter data accurately and assist with billing as required.

Ideal candidates hold a California CPT license and have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Bilingual skills and exceptional customer service are a plus in our fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• California phlebotomy license (CPT) required.
• 1+ year of phlebotomist experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training acceptable in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
